;DBands... well I suggest some like:
Dionysius, More Gammaray, Cans, Hammerfall, Vhaldemar. they are awesome and are pure power metal!  Cheesy.
From the bands that alredy exist in the station... the only one I'll remove is Rammstein.

Maybe I will suggest more bands... but for now those are the ones I would like to hear in the station.

You don't like Rammstein???

That's alright, I know a few people that like power metal but hate Rammstein.  I will agree that they aren't really "symphonic" most of the time.

But still. I love 'em. Tongue

I've actually greatly reduced Rammstein's rotation level - There are only 4 songs of Rammstein that will play without being specifically requested.  A lot of that stuff, while I like it, just isn't symphonic, epic, or power metal at all....

 Grin Hello people:

Yes, i thing Rammstein not be a consider in a power metal station.. There a many others great bands to include like, that are power like:

Luca Turrilli- italian
Hammerfall - swedesh
Vhaldemar (agree w/ Ivan) - spanish
Avalanch - (albums: 1. La llama eterna, 2.Llanto de un Heroe) - spanish
StormWarrior - (Northern Rage) - german
Royal Hunt (1998 ) - Danish
Archontes - russian

Already in stuff to reforce:
Gamma Ray - other great albumes (agre w/ Ivan)
Blind Guardian
Helloween (specially before 1995)

Another group that i don't like is Battlelore, but they have some power influences. If you want to include groups like this you can add too Childrem of Bodom.

Just curious... most of the Rhapsody seems to come from Legendary Tales, which I'd hardly call their best effort.   Sad  Is that just a coincendence of the times I'm listening, or is that a rotation thing?

My guess is that it would be a coincidence, except that a song from Legendary Tales (Emerald Sword) is in the "Power Hits" categorey that we discussed earlier.

When playing non-new music, the system plays the 'least recently played song', assuming the least recently played song isn't by an artist that was played within the last hour.  In that case, it selects the second least recently played song, etc.

Pardon, sir, but Emerald Sword is from Symphony Of Enchanted Lands.  And the last 2 tracks I heard were from Legendary Tales.  Mind you, I'm not complaining, just an observation of something odd.

(Hey, I was listening to that Ira Tenax!)   Angry Grin

Oh, yeah, that's right.

Odds are that those two tracks that you recently heard were the least recently played tracks at the time you heard them.

Luca Turilli
Avalanch
Royal Hunt

how can I forget them!!  Embarrassed
Of Gammaray... Hope you can get first of all "Land Of The Free" and "Somewhere Out Ins Space"... in my opinion they are by far the best albums of Gammaray... LOTF is just a extreme piece of rt Cheesy

Also wanna tell everyone about a band called "Trans Siberian Orchestra". Is not power metal... nor symphonic metal... but is awesomly great!!! You can listen a excrepts from their songs in Amazon's Music Samples... just search for "Trans Siberian" un popular music... and 3 albums will appear.

I thin'k they are not for upload into the radio (unless is christmas) but they are great albums to have  Grin

Yes, TSO is great stuff.  Although not really power metal, it is quite symphonic (duh)! Cheesy

Primal Fear!! yes!! but I think Primal Fear is a little bit heavier than the others.. like an hibrid between Judas Priest and (old)Gammaray. anyway is a excellent band.

I almost Forget, Iron Saviour!!! they are like the brothers of Gammaray. just an amazing band!
