ARCH ENEMY leader Mike Amott has revealed that the band's forthcoming new album, Doomsday Machine, is currently in the mixing phase with Andy Sneap. As previously reported, Arch Enemy recently signed a new agreement that sees Century Media Records, in conjunction with Amott's Savage Messiah Music label, become the home for the group's future albums worldwide outside Southeast Asia. Doomsday Machine is set for a July 25th release in Europe (July 26 in North America). The album is produced by Rickard Bengtsson and co-produced by the band. It was recorded at Slaughterhouse Studio in Sweden. On the direction of the album Amott states, "Pure f**king Metal! None of that whiny shit." On the band's upcoming plans he says, "We are taking the "Doomsday Machine" around the world a few times - US fans will first see the band on the 2nd stage at Ozzfest..."
