Because the Stress Test I'm in will end on Sunday. I'm not in the actual closed beta. Then I get to spend all my time from Sunday to open beta/release listening to power metal and day dreaming about that game.
Cruel, cruel world. I actually think I'm going to go on a drawing spree all based on things I saw in the game. Might not be so bad then...

I so, so don't want the stress test to end. I'm massively happy with the fact that I get to play until Sunday instead of it being all over already, but it's kind of just delaying the painful truth.

Completely different. I love the game immensely. You are always on the move, always doing something new. It's an entirely different dynamic as far as massive multiplayer online RPG's are concerned.
If you've got any interest in this - I happen to run a World of Warcraft gaming guild! It's at

if you want to check it out.

I want to try it out, but I only get pirated copies here, and I don't want to install pirated stuff on my PC. I will have to though if it's AMAZING!

Final Fantasy 2 and 3 (4 and 6 in Japan) and Chrono Trigger, in my opinion, are some of the very best single-player RPG's ever written. The only recent single player RPG I've played that was as fun as those was Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Mario
But... WOW is online, and I'm on 56k. How's Frozen Throne? (Or the latest offline version)?

Don't worry about 56k ... I have several members in my guild who are playing World of Warcraft in the beta and they're using 56k modems. :-)

IT has more to do with your RAM than the connection I think. I've got bad-ass cable internet and I still lag because all I got is 256mb RAM.
But yes, best game ever. Warcraft3 and Frozen Throne are good too. As far as SNES rpgs go, I've only played the Zelda game and an emulator version of Chrono Trigger. Good stuff.

Ah, I've only got 128
I think I should go for Warcraft, the RTS. Anyway, which one's the latest standalone package?
