I just ran across Epic Rock Radio on Live365 the other day and let me tell ya...

Great job on the station!

What a blast of foggy fresh air. Thanks!

I got it playin' bloody near continuously in my home office.

I'm also fillin' up my cd wish lists real quick too!
As if the 1000 plus cds I already own aint enough!

Bah! Never enough when it comes great tunes.

Hey,

Awesome!  Seeing as I don't make any money or anything for this, the only payoff I get is when we get a new listener who really likes the station.   Grin  (Actually, I lose money, but that's okay)

Welcome to the boards, too.  Feel free to participate as much as you want.  I'm actively taking requests for new music to be added to the station as well, so if you know of any music that isn't here that we ought to add, just let me know.

Again, welcome.  Oh, by the way, awesome signature banner.

Yeah welcome to the boards Smiley

Then... See how lucky we are, you know many people who would lose money just to allow us to have a radio? I don't Wink

Yeah, a few pennies, however - I recommend buying from http://www.theendrecords.com because they are substantially less expensive than Amazon.com.   Grin  I do appreciate the offer though!

Bah, I hate advertisements.  Live365 tries to make you see enough advertisements without me adding more.  Yuck!

I might set up a Paypal vendor account so people can send me donations if they want to, but that's it.

What do you think about that idea?

You wouldn't get tons of donations, but a few people would surely send a few bucks to support your awesome work Smiley

Live365 just changed their policies and their contract with ASCAP that allows their broadcasters to take donations and that sort of thing, otherwise I wouldn't have brought it up.   Smiley

Nah.  I'll never have commercials on ERR.  They suck.  A lot.  When I am tryin' to rock, nothing messes it up like a commercial.  Maybe if they were advertisements for symphonic power metal concerts?  *laugh*  Nah, no way.

The worst that will ever happen, and that's only if we become a mega-huge superstar radio station with thousands of listeners, is that our main page might have a single advertisement banner.  No audio commercials, ever.   Grin
