Canadian Code Monkey

Greetings from Canada, Eh.

I used to be a dedicated MSR listener for sometime, but had been unable to listen for some time due to internet connectivity, and real life issues.  When i returned to start listening to MSR again, i was greeted with sadness as MSR stopped broadcasting in september.  In a message to his listeners, fade told us about this station as an alternative for our need for metal, and I must say, its everything he's said it would be.

I will be listening to ERR to get my daily dose of kickass music from home and work since I can no longer do so through MSR.

Keep on Rockin' in '08

Welcome to ERR!  For those few of us down here who appreciate Canadian exports, such as HNIC and Rickert's Red, any Canuck is welcome.  Metal Storm is missed, but you have found your way home through the long and cold night to the warm hearth of Epic Rock Radio.  Request away, and enjoy!

Indeed, welcome aboard, from one of the 'oldest' listeners of the station, heh.

Woo!  New forumers.  Now, if I may quote an ancient proverb from the great Abbot and Costello:
"NIAGARA FALLS!  Slowly I turned, step by step, step by step, and when I saw that sneer on his face I struck, and I grabbed him and shook him around.  That's what I did with him."

Um, sorry.  That's a really old one, and I'd be impressed if anyone else knew of it.

Into Eternity are from Regina.  Anvil would be another - but we don't have their stuff on ERR.  Eidolon - same thing.

Rush, of course.

Welcome.

Fade actually has stopped by our forums a few times in the past.  He's a great guy, and he ran a great station.  In fact, he even donated a CD to us once.

Anyhow, glad to have you here.  We're similar to what MSR was, but don't journey quite as far into the darker, growling side of metal as he did.
