According to the QFM96 website, rock legends CHEAP TRICK will start off 2006 with a new album. Singer Robin Zander says, "We don't have a title for it yet, but it's done and we're real happy with it and we can't wait until it comes out." He says they hope to release it in late February or March.

As reported here yesterday, Cheap Trick will re-release new versions of two of its most popular studio albums, 1979's Dream Police and 1980's All Shook Up, on February 21st. Both albums will feature remastered sound and bonus tracks, along with new liner notes. Dream Police is the group's second highest-charting album, reaching #6 on the Billboard Top 200 chart and selling over a million copies. The reissue features four bonus tracks, including three live cuts and an unreleased version of the title track without strings. All Shook Up was produced by longtime BEATLES collaborator George Martin and spawned the hit 'Stop This Game'. The bonus tracks include four live songs, plus 'Everything Works If You Let It' from the soundtrack to the film, Roa.        from Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles posted from heavymetal gladiator january 2/2006
