Hey everybody,
I just got a chromecast for the holiday, and I was wondering if any of you have gotten the ERR stream to work sent to the chromecast?
If so, what software / app did you use as an intermediate?  I could try sending the tab, but it's a bit choppy.
Thanks

I haven't worked with a Chromecast or been asked that question before.  I'm not sure...  What can you tell me about how it works?

It can be thought of like a wireless hdmi-to-tv with fancy google software.
It interacts really well with the google chrome web browser, and you can send web-pages from the browser to the tv, or you can 'cast' certain webapps that are optimized for it.  Youtube, netflix, and rdio do this really well due to some optimizations in my experience, and there are many more things that can cast.
While the casting of the err web page with the stream running from the flash player at the top works rather well, I was wondering if anybody had desktop software, such as vlc, that had streaming optimized to the chromecast like what has been done with youtube ect...
I don't think there's anything that needs doing on ERR's part, I was just curious if anybody had any experience.
If, in the future, a mobile app existed for ERR, however, being able to cast to a chromecast would be a great feature to add after basic functionality in a later release.

Hi...
I was browsing topics and saw this one.

I don't know if you already found this out, but you can install Tunein Radio app on Chromecast and they have ERR there.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tunein.player&hl=pt

Hope i was able to help.
