According to Wiki...

"Invisible Circles is a concept album about the dynamics of quarrelsome families and psychological child abuse. The theme was inspired by guitarist Sander Gommans' work as an art teacher, in direct contact with dysfunctional families and teen-age problems. It is also a metal opera, with a storyline that follows the lives of an abused child and her parents since her conception to adulthood. The album was received with mixed reviews, but entered the charts in the Netherlands and Belgium."

I like After Forever and have forgotten about this album.  It sounds rather dark and gloomy but I'll give it a listen and see what I can do.

I'd like to hear "Freya" by The Sword added to the mix!

Also a fan of Baroness.

Both of these may already be in the 42 pages of suggestions here, but I'm new and throwing them out there anyway. Smiley

Cheers!

Hi,

Perhaps Sons of Seasons would fit to ERR. They formed in 2007 and have released their first album in 2009. It's called Gods of Vermin.

I think I have that album in the stock pile, as it were.  I'll check.  I think Oliver Palotai (keyboardist) from Kamelot is in Sons of Seasons too.

Yes it's his project. He plays guitar and keybord and Simone Simons did guest vocals. But I think its needless to mention this Wink

I had forgotten we didn't have this album on ERR - haven't heard it in a while since I came over here, but I do remember there are some good tunes on it. Heheheh, it's not too much more depressing and dark than lots of our other stuff here.  Grin

I'd love to see these albums on ERR:

Angel Dust - Border of Reality

Armored Saint - March of the Saint

How can you resist the Epicness of that album cover Grin

Dol Ammad - Ocean Dynamics

Saxon - Dogs of War

Silent Call - Creations From a Chosen Path

Skyclad - A Burnt Offering for the Bone Idol

That should do for now Wink Cheesy
