HELIX - No Rest For The Wicked Classic To Be Reissued   [Rarities    HELIX mainman Brian Vollmer has posted the following update at their official website:

"Several weeks ago I received an email from Derek Oliver. He wrote to inform me that his new label, Rock Candy Records out of the UK has licensed the No Rest for the Wicked (originally released in 1983) CD from EMI and plans to release it simultaneously with two other titles in June. The album is being remastered by Jon Astley, who has recently worked on the Who catalogue, JUDAS PRIEST's catalogue and ERIC CLAPTON's catalog amongst many others. He has done a tremendous job - it sounds brilliant. The label has also designed a 16 page booklet featuring a 4,000 word essay written by Derek, original and enhanced artwork, extra photos and memorabilia. I helped supply the artwork and a little ?blurb? with my recollections of that particular disc. Incidentally, Derek used to do write-ups on Helix back in the 80?s when he worked for Kerrang and Sounds Magazines. Funny where people resurface, isn?t ,  FROM BREAVEWORDS.COM, POSTED BY HEAVY METAL GLADITOR MAY 15TH 05
