We keep getting temperatures around 0c down here (well, were down for Stoo at least) so it just rains, freezes (great for driving..) and melts then starts all over again for about a month now.  Can't really say I miss the cold though, I hate winter...makes my skin sad.. Cry

Ugh.....I can't stand where I live now.  Our winter consists of a VERY humid climate at around 0-5 Celcius and constant torrential rain.  British Columbia sucks.  I'm still not used to the whole being cold thing at above freezing, but this damn humidity makes the temperature sink right in to your bones.

Now, back in my youth I lived just outside the arctic circle!  Good old Yukon!  Awesome dry climate, so as kids we used to go out at -20 Celcius without jackets and the chill would barely hit us.  *sniff*  I miss it......

Heck I was born at -53 Celcius!  Grin  Without no stinkin wind chill!

*laugh*  I love cold, dry climates.  Something I generally don't get where I live.  It gets up to around 54 or 55 celsius here in the summer.  It sucks.

Then you'd all die in Honduras! our temperatures can rise (on some parts of the country) and reach even 40 Celsius... it's like a living hell, heat sucks!

On the other hand... chilling wind also sucks.  Tongue

Dude, tell me you've heard (and love) Fools Never Die by Nocturnal Rites.  Songs like that prove to me that there are Gods of Metal, and they are damn good to us Wink

You know, my favorite Nocturnal Rites songs are still "Ring of Steel" and "The Vision", from back in 1998 on "Tales of Mystery and Imagination".  I don't know why, but there's something about those two songs...  I just love 'em.

Im quite the opposite there Kail, I think Nocturnal Rites improved 10 fold after their new vocalist (forgot his name), he has the perfect voice for metal. Just something about the older vocalist that make their sounds sound like its being recorded in a garage or basement or pool changerooms.

each to their own i guess.

It's kind of odd - In general, I prefer the new vocalist as well.  Most of the older stuff sounds kind of thin and whiny.  But for some reason, I really love "Ring of Steel" and "The Vision".  They remain my favorite Nocturnal Rites songs.  However, if I were to sit down and listen to a Nocturnal Rites album from start to finish, it'd most likely be "New World Messiah" or another of the newer ones.

Odd, huh?

I knew that Nocturnal Rites made a release (a lltle before the last album) of their first CDs... remastered and all that, I really don't know if the new vocalist sings in those versions or if they are just the old songs with new quality... I will download them and I tell you... did I said download... I mean BUY... yes, buy  Roll Eyes
