It used to be where you could do your own editing but other folks were moving the locations around, ie:  ERR would be in California (true location) one day and in Spain the next day, and my location would move across the board as well, and so on.  The Map was then changed so that just a select few had permission to make any changes and do the editing.  Subsequently, the map idea, though a great concept, ran out of steam and faded off into the distance.

Seems to be a bit of a delay on my part in responding to this thread .... if the GUEST MAP idea is still something of interest perhaps something like this  ....  http://www.bravenet.com/webtools/guestmap/

Bravenet also has other cool tools for webpages. Free .... although if you want the "best" you may have to pay for it.

I miss the map.  It was such a fun way to see where everyone was.  Would also help to plan vacation meetings between ERRors.

FeuerFrei still is the owner of the map, I think.  Maybe he can poke around and see if he can make it editable by the public again?  You can still get to it at http://map.epicrockradio.com but I can't edit it any more.
