Epic Rock Radio broadcasts using a 64k MP3 Pro stream.  This stream allows the music to sound as good as if you were playing it directly from a CD, and it sounds awesome!

However, if you are listening to the station using a "normal" MP3 player, or the built-in Live365 web player, the sound quality won't be very good.  If the station doesn't sound as good as a CD, you should get yourself a MP3 Pro player, and here's how:

First, click this link:

http://www.jetaudio.com/download/index.html

and download "JetAudio 6.x.x Basic"

Install that with all the default settings.  If you decide you want to change some of the settings, make absolutely sure that the .PLS files are still associated with JetAudio.  If you don't know what I'm talking about, don't change any settings.  :-)

Once you've installed it, click on this link:

http://www.live365.com/cgi-bin/personalize.cgi

Then, scroll down just a little bit, maybe half a page, to the MP3 Player section.  Click the button next to the choice "MP3 Player – iTunes, MusicMatch, Winamp or similar" and then scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Save Settings".   What this does is configure Live365 to send the music stream to your default MP3 player, which is now JetAudio.

That's it! you're ready to hear Epic Rock Radio the way it was always meant to be heard!
